Understanding the User

Through user interviews it was important to understand the wants and needs of Cotopaxi users.

Duradera Anorak

Introducing the Duradera Anorak. The hooded durable design balances Cotopaxi’s bright color pops, while performing excellently in the field. The Duradera Anorak brings a retro style to a modern performance garment. This paired with the thoughtful packable pouch creates a full system of wear through recycling.

Packable Design

The Anorak easily folds into itself and serves as an envelope for return to Cotopaxi. Ideally the packed jacket could have a label applied and easily dropped at the post office.

Repair Guide Book

This book gives a step-by-step guide of how to make simple on the trail repairs. The straightforward graphics and easy descriptions give the user a great guide to start their repairing.
